From Nerd to Saiyajin and back
I’m an eclectic mix of German-Italian-Indonesian heritage and grew up in a household of music journalists. Being exposed to endless hours of jazz every day, I took up piano lessons at an early age and soon dreamed of performing on stage.
But fate took a different turn when I was repeatedly harassed by my beloved Italian cousin, perfectly trained in the art of karate. Aged 12, I decided to watch fewer cartoons and become a Kung Fu Master. Ten years later, I knew every Dragonball episode by heart.
Actually, I really trained Kung Fu for more than 20 years. And when the martial arts brought to light even more shortcomings than just physical weakness, I also wished to educate myself spiritually. Thus, I studied philosophy and psychology to back up a strong body with knowledge and a peaceful mind.
After graduating I took trips to Thailand and Japan to hone my martial arts skills, worked in recruiting, quit for extremely substantial differences, worked as a fitness coach, founded a company for sports towels, tried to establish myself as a songwriter and wrote poetry and short stories to cope with failure.
Today, I’m happily pursuing a career as a screenwriter for animation and work as an independent life coach.
Yours
